BAI Age Verification

Official Age Calculation System

Understanding how BAI officially calculates player age.

📅 January 1st Rule

BAI strictly calculates player age based on the 1st January of the calendar year of the application or tournament.

Example:

  • If a player was born on August 15, 2010
  • For tournaments in 2024, the player's sporting age is calculated as of January 1, 2024
  • Since the player turned 13 in 2023, they become eligible for Under-15 in 2024
